The 6th edition of the Textile Technologies as a framework of Actual Developments Congress (GGÇTT) will be held by the South Area of TMMOB, on May 12, in Gaziantep. It has been announced that participation in the whole symposium and organization that will be held in Zeugma Congress and Culture Center, will be free of charge. Anyone enrolled in the symposium will be delivered the flash disks that include documents on the symposium. Besides, free services from Adana and Kahramanmaraş will be provided for the event that will be held in Gaziantep.
The aim of GGÇTT is to reveal and discuss the current technical and technological developments in the different departments of textile. The companies operating in different disciplines of textile and producing technologies, the industrialists that use this technology and condust R&D activities on the operating conditions and the academics who will be the core in conducting the R&D activities through which this technology will be developed and improved continuously, will publish notices in the event, where all components of the textile sector will come together.
The sectoral and educational purposes of the symposium include; bringing the sector’s components, who are operating in different segments, together, reaching to-date information about the textile technologies, having detailed information about new products, bringing the producer and the consumer directly together with the booths established, bringing the textile engineering students from different universities and the textile engineers operating in the industry and the others from the textile sector together.
The 1st edition of GGÇTT was held in Adana with 610 participants, the 2nd edition was held in Kahramanmaraş with 450 participants, the 3rd edition was organized in Gaziantep with 400 participants, the 4th edition was held in Kahramanmaraş with 540 participants and the 5th edition was held again in Gaziantep with 490 participants. In addition to Adana, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Malatya, Hatay, Adıyaman and Şanlıurfa, a great interest is shown to the event by İstanbul, İzmir, Bursa and Çorlu. About 550 people are expected to participate in the symposium this year.
