To be organized on 20-22 September this year, Dornbirn Man-Made Fibre Congress (Dornbirn-MFC) continues its works for becoming a global brand. Standing out with its environmentalist approach, Dornbirn-MFC pays attention to such criteria as eco-label certificate, CO2 reduction, ecological catering, environment-friendly accommodation services and material and waste management. With the increasing number of participants this year, Dornbirn-MFC will focus on such issues as fibres and textiles for the automotive industry, fibres for nonwoven materials, fibre innovations, textile, finishing and functional additives.
Cooperation With Avantex
Dornbirn-MFC announced that it started to cooperate with Avantex Paris Fair which combines fashion and technology. Avantex Paris will be organised first in Paris and then together with Dornbirn-MFC. Thus, participants will have the opportunity of following both events. Organized by Messe Frankfurt France twice a year, Avantex Paris Fair targets to further strengthen in the future and provide more benefits to the final consumers thanks to the synergy to be created with Dornbirn which is the address of innovations in the field of fibre.
With “TexCar”, Fibres Used in Automotive Will be Introduced
At Dornbirn-MFC, another interesting event of this year will be the display of a car of an important European brand by Groz Beckert with a longitudinal cut. The car will be cut in a manner to reveal and make visible the places where fibres are used and displayed in its original sizes in the fair area. Fibres will be promoted with various aspects and usage areas.
