If the theme of Milano Unica’s Trend Area for July 2021 edition is ‘Magnificent Passions’, Filo brings the contribution of the spinning industry by sharing the ‘magnificent passion’ for quality, research, processing accuracy, but especially for textile products’ sustainability and traceability.
At MU, Filo presents the yarns which are exclusively the ones proposed by its exhibiting companies in the scope of the sustainability’s project FiloFlow, which has been active for some editions.
Projection: Excellence
In addition to making the area reserved to Filo more evocative and characterised by an immediate impact, there is the projection of the video ‘One-way tickets’, containing the product development proposals of Filo carried out for the season that will displayed at Milano Unica: a further way to stress the continuity of excellence’s products along the supply chain.

FiloFlow
FiloFlow project puts on the foreground Filo’s exhibiting companies which adopt sustainable production processes. The initiative focuses on raw materials, supply chain’s traceability, energy consumption, chemical management, waste management, environmental monitoring, and involvement in social and ethical activities. The project has registered a great success among the companies: a signal which proves the attention that textile upstream supply chain industry gives to environmental concerns and social responsibility.
