Fespa To Be Held In Istanbul For The 4th Time

Organising fairs for digital printing with large formats, screen printing, industrial advertising, textile printing and garment decoration sectors, FESPA is set for FESPA Eurasia to be held in Istanbul for the 4th time. Expecting a high level of participation, new printing machinery, ink and software for textile industry will be on display throughout the fair. Besides international companies attending the fair, there are also Turkish textile companies taking their place.

Michael Ryan, Group Exhibition Manager at FESPA, answers the questions of our publishing group regarding the fair to be held in CNR Expo on 8-11 December this year:

"Turkey Has a Well-Established Textile Sector"

"Istanbul is one of the most modern cities in the region and an international hub with great travel links throughout Eurasia and Turkey has a well-established textile sector with textile companies ready to invest in the latest technologies to ensure they remain competitive in a global marketplace." says Michael Ryan.

"Companies Seeking To Be Innovators Should Certainly Come To Istanbul in December"

Stating the fact that printing industry develops hand in hand with technological developments and Turkey currently holds a great position in digital printing, Mr. Ryan emphasises the importance of the fair FESPA that will be held in Istanbul this year.

"Many textile buyers turn their face to Turkey to supply textile products and Turkish textile companies have a great global reputation for providing quality products at competitive prices. Turkey is also at the top with Italy when it comes to early adaptation of digital textile printing technology. With the increase of the USD, the cost of imports from Asia has increased considerably. Many global buyers are now looking to Turkey to supply their textiles, leather and carpets." continues Mr. Ryan.

Pointing out the fact that the printing of textile products has substantially advanced today, "Importers do not want to make large orders of a style or design that may well go out of fashion tomorrow. A tremendous growth has been achieved for the textile printing and those companies wishing to be innovative should certainly come to Istanbul in December." adds Mr. Ryan.
