Turkey which is rising as an important manufacturer and market for the production of home textiles, floor covering and carpet-rug continues to attract fair organizers. Deutsche Messe, the organizer of Domotex that world’s largest floor covering fair, moves Domotex Middle-East, organized in Dubai for last 6 years to Istanbul. The fair which is finished in Dubai but moved to Istanbul will be held in CNR EXPO Centre from 8 to 11 November 2012.
Carpet and Floor fair which is organized in Gaziantep and becomes a heart of Turkish carpet sector is noticed by international fair companies with its achievements. This fair which is started to organized semi-annually becomes a platform that brings together manufacturers and buyers from local and international market. More than 100 local and international companies have participated in Carpet and Floor fair whose 12nd edition was held on 8-11 March. The fair was organized in Istanbul previous year. The city of Gaziantep also host Middle East Carpet and Furniture fair. It is indicated that continuously rising achievements of these two fairs related with home textile became effective to bring Domotex in Istanbul.
Domotex which has 3 editions in a year with Hannover, AsiaChinaFloor and Middle-East-İstanbul is accepted as the largest floor-surface covering fair. Wood, plastic etc. other surface covering items beside of textile based products such as carpet and rug take part in the fair. It is indicated Domotex Middle-East which will be organized in Istanbul will address to MENA region involves Middle East and North Africa.
