Stars of the fashion, desing, cinema and architecture are coming together for the Design Soul event held by Filli Boya. The event which will gather the various disciplines under the roof of architecture has certain faces who will reflect its interdisciplinary soul. The event to be held for the first time this year targets to bring together the architects and designers every year.
Taking different and leading steps about the use of color in the life as of 1988 when it took place in the sector, Filli Boya is blazing a trail with the Design Soul event. The event will be organized with a different consept every year and the theme of this year is the “Soul of the Colors”. It will be held in the Structure-Industry Center (YEM) in Fulya, İstanbul on the 11th October 2012, Thursday in order to explore the soul of the colors.
Design and Color Will Meet
Desing Soul event hosts outstanding speakers from various disciplines including architecture, desing, fashion and cinema. In particular, Serra Yılmaz who is the international figure of the Turkish cinema world, stage actress, translator and the most “colorful” figure of the event will be the moderator of the Design Doul. Yılmaz presents the formula of a colorful life to the audience while transfering the knowledge and experience that she has gained in years in a witty manner peculiar to herself. Danish architect and designer Jan Ammundsen who has received many awards this year as well as being granted with the title of “40 names aged under 40 in Europe” in the sector of design will also attend the event as speaker. Ammundsen will address such issues as sustainability, integral design approach, role of the color based on his own projects.
Fashion designer and trendsetter, Ümit Ünal who will be another important guest of the Design Soul will speak of the solutions that he presents for the inner space. One of the founding members of Erginoğlu & Çalışlar Architecture which offers innovative solutions to the Turkish architecture, Kerem Erginoğlu will address the color and design in his speech.
