The most important fabric and accessories fair concept of Italy, Milano Unica will host the textile manufacturers and designers at Portello, Milanocity, on 10-12 September 2013 with its 17th edition. In the fair which we will follow closely as Tekstil Dunyası Magazine Group, visitors coming from many parts of the global market and especially Europe will be able to see the special products closely at the important sectoral event of Italy and Europe. Having the fairs of Ideabiella, Ideacomo, Moda In and Shirt Aveneu within its concept, Milano Unica targets to draw attention with fabric and accessory trends at 2014 Spring-Summer Season.
In the September edition where 2014-2015 Fall-Winter trends will be displayed, the motto of “Beauty will save the world” is emphasized. It was stated that the motto which was announced by Angelo Uslenghi, Creative Team Coordinator of Milano Unica, had been used by Dostoyevski. Making explanations about this issue, Chairman of Milano Unica, Silvio Albini reported that the perception of “beauty” meets the needs of the human being aesthetically and morally and thus, they expect this concept to draw a great deal of attention in the edition of this year. Expressing that fabric selection and functional productions direct fashion, Italian manufacturers explained that the edition in September will emphasize the importance of fabric.
Support To Social Responsibility Works From Milano Unica
Apart from being an event where special works are handled in the global arena, Milano Unica stands out with its recreation programs offered to the participants. At the same time, relief organisations selected from other countries are supported at the evening events held as social responsibility programs. At the 16th edition, a concert whose income was donated to a relief organisations known as “House of Smiles”. The income collected in the concerts were sent to the relief organisations located in Brazil, Haiti, Peru, India, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Becoming successful in terms of the number of visitors, the fair achieved an increase of 5,5 % at the last edition. Visited by 19.000 guests, the fair allowed 417 participants to display their products.
