Cinte Techtextil China, one of the biggest events for innovations in technical textiles and nonwovens, is to be held from 22 – 24 October 2012 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Opening with 436 suppliers from 22 countries, shows a growth rate of 37.5 per cent compared to 2010. Visited by 18.058 professionals in 2010, the exhibition is expected to surpass this number. Organized by Messe Frankfurt once in two years, Cinte Techtextil China is to be held in 25,000 sqm of exhibition space, which is double in size compared to the last edition in 2010. Andritz Kuesters (Germany), Verdol (France), Textest AG (Switzerland), Truetzschler Nonwovens (Germany), Shanghai Yin Sicence &Technology (China) stand out among the companies exhibiting at the fair. Fabrics(woven and knitted) laid webs, braidings producers include Concordia Textiles (Belgium), Intertape Polymer Group (Canada), and Shanghaitex Holding (China).
In nonwovens segment, there are Avgol Nonwovens (Israel), and U.S. Pacific Nonwoven & Technical Textile Technology (Donguan) (China). In coated textiles, Beijing Textile Holdings (China), Sioen Coated Fabrics (Belgium), and Trelleborg (Italy); in Composites, Foshan Nanhai Wonderful (China) and Prochimir (France) come to the fore. H.B. Fuller (USA), Bozzetto (Italy), and Synthomer Chemicals (Germany) are among bonding techniques and chemicals.
Invista (USA), Kordsa Global (Turkey), and Lenzing (Austria) are the most notable participants in the fields of fiber and yarn at Cinte Techtextil. Apart from these global and important brands, with country and regional pavilions, Belgium, Germany, India, Italy, and Taiwan are preparing to welcome their visitors.

Informative programs about the fastest growing segment of technical textiles in China are to give visitors new and different perspectives in terms of the market in the region and their potential. Shanghai New International Expo Centre is to host Cinte Techtextil simultaneously with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo Autumn and the China International Knitting Trade Fair.
