The Carpet and Flooring Expo (CFE) hosted a total of 600 companies, consisting of 450 domestic and 150 international, at the Istanbul Fair Center with its second edition.

While stating that the fair contributes to the development of trade and the future vision of the sector adding to introducing Turkey's rich carpet and weaving culture, Ahmet Hayri Diler, Chairman of the Board of Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (İHİB) said, "The importance of such platforms is great both in introducing our culture to the world and in strengthening our exports. Together, we are moving towards our goal of seeing Turkish carpets at higher levels."

The CFE 2025 Carpet and Flooring Expo 2025, organized in Istanbul Fair Center (IFM) Yeşilköy, Istanbul with the cooperation of Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (İHİB), Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters' Association (GAHİB) and TÜYAP Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş, opened its doors. The fair, which was held between January 7-10, attracted great interest, and the area of ​​the fair expanded by 30 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 120 thousand square meters. A total of 600 companies from 18 countries participated in the fair, which hosted one of the largest gatherings in the carpet and floor coverings sector.

While expressing their utmost pleasure to meet the most valuable representatives of the carpet sector in Turkey and the world once again in Istanbul, Ahmet Hayri Diler, Chairman of the Board of Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (İHİB), noted that the fair, where the latest innovations and products in the sector were showcased, was one of the largest gatherings in the world.

''We Have Even Built On Last Year’s Success''

While underlining the past year success of the CFE Carpet and Flooring Expo Fair which regarded by all industry stakeholders, Diler said, “This year, we managed to grow our fair even further by building on this success. Our number of participants and visitors increased, our fair gained wider recognition in the international arena and the outlook of our Turkish carpets opening to the world extended far beyond. We see that the most important element underlying this success is unity and solidarity. This fair, which was brought to life in partnership with İHİB, GAHİB and TÜYAP, showed once again that acting together and combining our strengths is vitally important. Thanks to this spirit of solidarity, we have taken great steps to carry not only our sector but also our country to a further levels worldwide.”

Diler, who stated that the fair not only introduced Turkey's rich carpet and weaving culture, but also contributed to the development of trade and the future vision of the sector, and said, "We are happy to see that the spirit of cooperation and collaboration amongst sector representatives has been further strengthened this year. Turkish carpets are not just a product, but also a representative of a culture, a history and a unique craft. Therefore, such platforms are of great importance both in introducing our culture to the world and in strengthening our exports. Together, we are moving towards our goal of seeing Turkish carpets at higher levels. I am sure that we will carry this year's successes much further in the coming years."
