Turkey, which has become a world brand in carpet production, still cannot host a major carpet fair. The carpet fair, which previously held in Istanbul with a success and managed to keep up with the growth trend, was taken to Gaziantep in line with the request and view of the Gaziantep-based carpet manufacturers and exporters' associations. Following the fair which takes place, the size of the sector garnered a huge interest and then Germany-based Hannover Messe took part in and submiited to run the Turkish edition of the renown Domotex fair in Gaziantep. After these developments, manufacturers’ and some exporters' associations, which are their representatives, supported this cooperation and played a major part in organizing the Domotex Turkey fair.
In the press release which was delivered to our news center, it was stated that a new fair will be held in Istanbul under the name of CFE 2023 in cooperation with the Tüyap Fair Organization in December this year and this fair will be held in cooperation with exporters' associations.
What is the most significant about this fair was that Tüyap Fairs, which was appointed as the organizer body, announced that it will maintain the fair in Istanbul Fair Center, although it also operates as the fairground entrepreneur and has a fair area of approximately 100 thousand m2 consisting of 14 halls under its own responsibility.
As Tekstil Business News Center, we wish everyone success! We publish the press announcement below.
