Çalık Denim was established in Malatya in 1987 with $ 111 million of investment and today is among the first ten of world premium denim production. Çalık Denim produces denim fabric, gabardine and thread, exports more than 50% of its production and its yearly fabric capacity reached 44 million meters. Çalık Denim received the platinum award for the third time at ‘Leaders of Exports Awards’ which is organized by ITHIB.
Çalık Denim is among the ten biggest premium denim producers in the world, makes exports to more than 40 countries and is rewarded by İstanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (ITHIB) due to its contribution to the national economy. The company won the Platinum Award for the third time at ‘Leaders of Exports Awards’. With the participation of the Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Çalık’s General Director Hamit Yenici received the award.
Çalık Denim makes fabric exports to more than 40 countries in 4 continents, mainly to Europe and America with the company’s trade knowledge and 30 years of experience in the sector. Yenici stated that they are among Turkey’s 200 firms that export the most and said that they are in a strong position in all of the countries that are important for denim market. Çalık Denim, aims to strengthen its position in the global arena with new works in the upcoming season and present the quality of Turkish Products to more and more people.. Çalık Denim also makes production for some world brands such as Diesel, Tommy Hilfiger, Topshop, Guess, Banana Republic, H&M, Zara, Mavi and Colin’s.
