Africa Sourcing and Fashion Week will be held on October 1, 2017. The event to be led by Mess Frankfurt and held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will last for four days.

ASFW To Open Its Gates For The Fourth Time

Africa Resourcing and Fashion Week (ASFW) will be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 1-4 October 2018, led by Messe Frankfurt, one of the organizers of the world's most important trade fairs, congresses and conference events. African cotton and cotton products are expected to be at the forefront of the organization and brands providing service in apparel, leather products, textile technologies, home decoration segments will also take their place in the event. At ASFW, which is currently reporting that more than 250 companies engaging in international trade will participate in, companies coming from 25 different countries and set up their stands will showcase more than 4000 products for the visitors. It is stated that the scope of the organization to be organized this year for the fourth time is expected to grow by 30 percent compared to the previous one held in 2017. It is also suggests that 12 new South African companies will open their stands for the first time this year during ASFW.  A conference on 'Transformation in Technology' will be organized during the event, where the main theme will be 'Sustainability in Production'. Additionally, the collections created by 25 African designers will be exhibited during fashion shows to be arranged for 4 days. In order to add mobility to the continental trade, a panel on free trade and investment plans will be held in Mauritius, Madagascar, Kenya and Ethiopia.
