Director of Milano Unica, Ercole BOtto Poala, whose exhibitions are displayed in September 2018, stated that they are aiming to approximate their bussiness to textile market and also to make Chineese buyers to participate in Milano Edition. 42 İtalian operations, with the collaboration of ICE Agent and the encouragement of Italian Ministry of Department, displayed the collections of A/W 2019-2020 in the concept of Milano Unica Pavillion. The president of ICE Agent Shangai Massimilano Tremittera also stated that; “ We appreciate the business partnership with Milano Unica, as a company which understand the importance of the collaboration between the private and public sector, which is considered as a critical area in the global competency.”
The Effect of Chinese Market in Textile Sector
In first half-year of 2018, textile trade between Italy and China with leading Hong Kong, recorded stabile digits andexported costs 192 million Euro and imported stocks about 11,6%. The positive records of imports from China were in tune with the records in the first half of 2017, thus the company’s primary concentraion was on the fabric exports which reaced all time high about 1,9 billion Euro. As a result, China became an important market for Italian textile again, in the first half of 2018.
