The German manufacturers, who attach a special interest to China, the greatest export market, pays attention to participate in all events organized for all segments of the textile sector in the Chinese market. Together with the member companies, VDMA, the umbrella organization of the German manufacturers, will take place in the conference and exhibition named “German Technology for the Chinese Technical Textile Industry”, which will be held on March 5-7-9, 2012 in Jinan, Hangzhou and Quanzhou in China. In these three cities, 16 well-known companies of VDMA will exhibit their innovative technologies and products for the production of technical fibers and yarns, technical fabrics and finishing processes of technical textiles and nonwovens.
As it can be remembered, within the frame of the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015), the Chinese Government aims to achieve high quality in the production processes in textile sector and pursues a more developed goal in terms of to high quality energy and material efficiency. The textile manufacturers in Taiwan, who intend to increase their production in technical textiles, have been thorugh the same process. In order to support the manufacturers in the region and to promote the technologies originating in Germany, VDMA will organize conferences in three important cities of China. Technical textiles for the automotive sector, for buildings and architecture, for medical and hygiene products, for clothing (sports), for geotextiles are some of the topics of the event, which will become a platform for the manufacturers of textile machinery and components, experts, producers and academics from the sector.
The conferences and the fairs that will be held on March 5th in Jinan, on March 7th in Hangzhou and on March 9th in Quanzhou, will be organized with the cooperation of VDMA and VDMA-China Representative Office. China Textile Information Center (CTIC), China Textiles Development Center (CTDC) and Taiwan Technical Textile Association (TTTA) are among the important supporters of the event. Registrations for the event bagan in January 2012.
