Brand and branding increase the importance at current foreign trade environment. Denizli Exporters’ Association (DENİB) which is concentrating on Turkish towel’s branding activities with ‘TurkishTowels’ brand in recent years, has intensified promotional activities in United States of America. DENİB, maintains its activities in different points of the world for the promotion of Turkish towel, undertook the sponsorship of opening program of Global Home Show held in New York. At the same time, during the program, new season collections of the firms which have showrooms in Turkish Trade Centre in New York and the collections of the finalists ranked at DENİB Home and Beach Wear Design Competition were introduced.
Towel Export Made For USA Has Increased
Deputy Chairman of TİM and President of DENİB, Süleyman Kocasert who made expiations about the event, said the fruits of the activities made for American market have been picked up. He especially underlined that the towel export carried out for USA in recent years has a serious increase. Kocasert said “Our towel export for USA increased respectively as 14% and %16. With these increase rates, USA left astern Germany which never gave rein to its leadership chair for long years”. Kocasert highlighted that the brand activities which have been focused on in recent years and the emphasis of ‘TurkishTowels’ have great importance for the increasing of the export made to USA.
