German Textile Mechanics continue to increase its sales of Turkey. Producers cruising at yarn, knitting and puff lock machines deteriorated little in the fields of dyeing, washing and finishing according to the numbers of sales in Turkey in 2012 VDMA presented. German producers sold totally 348.181 Million Euro textile machines to Turkish markets in 2012. German mechanics exporting for 168.489 million euro to Turkish markets in the exporting of yarn machines in 2012, sold for 39.555 million euro at weaving machine by growing 300 percent in comparison with previous year. Although VDMA members did not exceed limit of 90 million euro in the sales of knitting and puff lock machines, it exported in the level of 86.065 million euro by obtaining 25 percent increase in comparison with previous year. The only field German firms declined at Turkish markets is finishing group machine. Producers exceeding limits of 60 million euro in 2011 made an sale for 54.072 million in 2012. It was pointed out exporting to Turkey in finishing group products in 2012 was below 56.442 million euro in 2010.
Turkey is very important for German mechanics
Elgar Straub who is general manager of VDMA Skin and Clothing Technologies giving a speech at introduction meeting of Techtextile and Texprocess Exhibition in İstanbul stated that Turkey is one of the leader countries in the global markets. Elgar Straub who stated that they are in commercial intercourse, constantly increasing, with Turkey as a result of mutual working pointed out: “ Demand of consumers are at high level at Turkish markets. It is necessary to state that Turkey is important for all regions to Central Asia from Arabian countries. Being close of Turkey to the most important buyers in Europe,including in East and South East, talented labor and tradition of textile machining cause to make difference.”
Straub explaining about national customers of German sewing and textile machines in 2012 stated that Turkey and China take place after ABD making an increase in this field. Straub emphasized that America steps up to first from third in comparison with the previous year.
Sales in the global field are stable
Mechanics who are VDMA members taking place among favourite marks at global markets except for Turkey sales reached totally global sales for 3.141 billion euro. Producers exporting for 1.409 billion euro with litte increase in technology creating the biggest sale item of producers made no progress about weaving. The biggest trouble in the numbers of export was in the fields of knitting and puff lock. Increase in finishing group progressed after sales declining approximately 25 percent in comparison with the previous year in this field. German mechanics reached the number 818.245 million euro in the field of finishing.
Sequence on the basis of countries did not change
When it is looked at the fields which German mechanic exported, sequence did not change. While China was chosen as it is mostly exported country with the number 1.025 billion euro, Turkey was secondly the biggest export market with the number 348.181 million euro. Export fields were respectively constitued by India with the number 240.348 Million, America with the number 171.143 Million Euro, Indonesia with the number 121.014 Million Euro. In general terms, in sales declining only Turkey and Indonesia progressed among five market countries. It is stated that in the report, published by VDMA, course of sales would be positive in 2013.
