TEMSAD Is Assertive for 2015

Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ and Accessories Industrialists’ Association (TEMSAD) is getting ready for ITMA 2015 Milano with assertive projects. In the meeting held by the association, future projects of the association were also discussed. In the dinner, Adil Nalbant, the Chairman of TEMSAD, made a presentation and informed their members. Nalbant said that: “We are assertive for 2015 and ITMA 2015 Milano. To this end, we are getting ready.”

Richard Salvatore, the General Coordinator of the Association, made explanations to our Magazine Group and said that: “As TEMSAD, one of our targets for 2014 is to organise workshops in 16 countries including the USA and China. We will invite procurement committees from 16 countries via our embassies and organise meetings between them and our members. At the beginning of December this year, we will hold a workshop in Mumbai, the textile capital of India. We will take our sales committee there, make a presentation for the textile manufacturers of India and visit the factories of Indian manufacturers with our members. We will organise such workshops both at home and abroad. We will bring procurement committees in addition to taking our sales committee to foreign countries. We will organise workshops in Denizli and Kahramanmaraş for the local textile manufacturers. Later on, we may organise such events in Bursa and Gaziantep etc. For instance, we will organise our workshop in Denizli in cooperation with Denizli Chamber of Industry. We will go Denizli with our members, make a presentation to the local textile manufacturers and promote our machines and accessories.”

125 Turkish Firms Will Participate in Milano

Expressing that textile has a considerably bright future in Turkey as the locomotive industry, Salvatore added that: “20 % of the employment is provided by the textile sector in Turkey. An export amount ranging between $ 300-350 million is recorded in the segment of textile machinery on average every year. Most of this export is made to Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan and Iran. Besides, our export is not limited to Asia. We export our machines especially to South America, England and Germany.” Stating that they also support Kahramanmaraş Textile Machinery Fair held in Kahramanmaraş, Salvatore added that: “In today’s meeting, we discussed the strategies for ITMA 2015 Milano. This year 125 firms will participate in the fair and 80 members have already bought their places from Milano. We, just as in Barcelona in 2011, are planning to take part in Milano with remarkable projects. Our concept for 2011 was highly appreciated. We intend to mark Milano by further developing this concept.”
