Having reached a trade volume of 500 million USD in two years, Fashionist will host more than 700 fashion professionals and buyers from Turkic Republics and Middle East region, in particular, within the scope of the fair. Targeting to create a business volume of 300 million USD, Fashionist will gather the professionals of the fashion at Lütfi Kırdar Convention Centre on 14-16 January 2016. Fashionist, Evening Gowns, Wedding Dresses and Suits Fair, aims creating a trade volume that will revive the Turkish textile sector.
Cılga: Interest of Iran and Africa excited the Turkish market
Saying that Fashionist aims to bring new actors to the sector, Didem Cılga, General Director of Patika Fuar A.Ş., emphasized that the direction of the fair turned towards the overseas markets. With respect to Fashionist included in the international fair calendar, Cılga added that, "As a result of the field works, the interests of Iran and Africa in the Turkish market led to an excitement in the sector."
