Member firms of Association of Aegean Ready- Made Clothing and Garment Exporters (EHKİB) reached its highest number ever with 135 million dollars export in August when taking into consideration the whole exports they carried out in this month.
When all of the periods are taken into consideration, August was on the books as the second highest export number on a monthly basis by closing to 136 million dollars historical export record in July 2014.
Spain Hit The Top With 205 Million Dollars Export
While 911 members of EHKİB realized 825 million dollars export in January- August period of 2017, export for Spain reached 205 million dollars by increasing 13%. Spain hit the top at the ranking of countries which make the most export.
Emre Kızılgüneşler, chairman of the board of Association of Aegean Ready- Made Clothing and Garment Exporters, who refers that the perfect performance of Aegean ready- made clothing and garment exporters carried Spain to the position which is made the most export at the list, says “Spain rose the country position we made the most export for the first time. Export that our Aegean ready- made clothings exporters made for shining Spanish brands became the impetus at this record. Export we made for Germany which fell as second was carried out as 200 million dollars at January- August period”. Mr. Kızılgüneşler who shares the detail that they made export for 136 countries in 2017, adds his words that their end of the year target is to reach 1 billion 250 million dollars export number.
