Adnan Dalgakıran, the President of Machinery Exporters’ Association and Machinery Introduction Group, who talked at American Market Informing Meeting that was organized in Istanbul by Machinery Introduction Group emphasized that the developments in the world increased the importance of American market. Dalgakıran who stated that machinery exporters needed to observe American market carefully, said “Here is a big market, its incentives are abundant and profit margins are high.”
“Machinery Can not be Purchased With the Logic of Retail”
By stating that Turkish machinery manufacturers need to trust the quality and the standardization of the product, Dalgakıran said “If we produce the correct product, each market is good for us. We need to know our competitors very well. We cannot sell our product by saying that we are selling cheaper. We need to know how much energy it consumes while selling our product and know how to solve the service trouble while having a problem. We mustn’t try to sell machinery with the logic of retail without solving these problems.”
Adnan Dalgakıran who underlines that machinery sector needs to be successful for Turkey to be successful, ends his words by saying “For machinery sector to be successful, we have to change our attitude of mind first and awaken working demand ın the people by putting income economy by. We have to reorganize education system and create correct human resources.”
