Messe Frankfurt has announced its financial report for 2015. According to the data, while the sales of Messe Frankfurt Group have reached to a volume of approximately 648 million Euros, the annual net income has reached to 38.2 million euros. “We have confirmed once again our leading position among the German exhibition companies and have carried our international ranking to a higher level.” says Messe Frankfurt Chairman and CEO Wolfgang Marzin and noted that they had organized 133 trade fairs worldwide with a total amount of 90.800 participants taking place in the scope of these fairs.
“More than 38 percent of our sales are realized outside of Germany.” says Wolfgang Marz and announced that international events would continue to grow, whereas by 2018 they would be including 17 new events in to their portfolio.
High Profitability Will Be Sustained Via Permanent Growth
Wolfgang Marzin, stating that the Messe Frankfurt Group was well positioned, both strategically as well as financially, quoted his wordings as follows; “While the company is maintaining its high profitability with a strong global network and capital required for investments, in the meantime also plans to carry forward the increase of its market share. We expect good sales figures for the current fiscal year.”
In addition, Messe Frankfurt Executive Board Member Detlef Braun provided his assessments quoting his wordings as follows; “It can be said that we have reached to a major international content with many of our fairs and that we have set new records in our customer valuations.” and finally explained that as a company, they expected to finalize this year powerfully with respect to scales such as participants, visitors and sold fairgrounds.
