‘Incentives Of India Are Beneficial’
Bruno Ameline, President of UCMTF who gave information about general structure of UCMTF, global market and French textile market made important explanations. Ameline who stated that companies within their association compete with each others said that UCMTF is active in terms of global and work with small companies correlatively. Ameline; “we provide that small companies have a good relationship with their customers. We invite local textile firms by organizing seminars with the help of UBIFRANCE and French local agencies. In this way, we understand the structure of companies and we shape our supports according to this. For example; we are glad that 150 companies from Jogjakarta, Samarang, Solo and Surabaya and over 300 companies from India participated in seminar that took place in Bandung, Indonesia. We can grow and develop within the scope of these relationships.” said.
Bruno Ameline who mentioned about the developments in global market emphasized that many companies got record sales and order intakes in 2012. Ameline; “Our many companies reached a record high in 2012. This positive situation has a single disadvantage. This disadvantage is that delivery takes a year or more than a year. We are positive for the whole 2013into 2014. After apparel and home textile has collapsed, Europe market has experienced the same thing. These markets have shifted to China, India and Turkey. Government of India and local investment incentives affect this situation.” said. Ameline who said that the risk of investment to these markets can be removed with experience and knowledge said that they provide the best service to their clients with developed new solutions.
Eco-designs That Leave The Least Possible Footprint On The Environment
Ameline stated that firms focus on mostly sustainable development in recent times and; “Firstly big companies which give importance to technologic investments have more sustainability demands. This situation is valid more for very powerful international brands and all textile producers than apparel and home textile producers. For technical textiles, the public and private procurement policies follow the same trends. For example, in France, public procurement criteria include sustainability. At this point, we aim to provide sustainable profit by moving with our companies. We should give importance eco-design besides sustainability in our machines. Our products should be recyclable and leave the least possible footprint on the environment.” said. Ameline who mentioned about patent and intellectual properties of firm’s products said lastly that; “Each company has a policy in itself but we formed an active work group about this strategic theme in recent times in our association. Our intellectual property right needs to be protected. Because this is our most important reason of our existence. We have powerful documents in the case of any situation occurs. These are our value of patent and brands. We think that this strategy will be beneficial on the subject of long-term customer relationship.
