The declaration, which was published with the signatures of the exporters’ associations and representatives of the unions, gave coverage to the following wordings, quoted as follows;
“We condemn vehemently this coup attempt against our government and nation and condemn those who have set out to execute this execrable attack.”
The statement contained in the declaration gave place to the following wordings;
Devoted to the Supreme Turkish Nation,
We condemn those who have set out to execute this execrable attack, the coup attempt against the Turkish Grand National Assembly, which has been elected by the free will of the Turkish public, our Government and Nation.
We do not recognize any will other than Democracy and the national will.
The attempt of July 15, which will pass on as a disgrace to our history of democracy, will also be referred to as the victory of the civilian life.
The strong-willed attitude of our government, political parties, media and nation, standing guard over democracy against the coup attempt, has further strengthened our belief in the future.
No pressure, no power will ever retain Turkey from the path, which leads to the entitled attainment of its objectives. This day, is a day to protect the values of democracy and to unionize.
At the cost of their life, fighting against the coup plotter betrayers, we express our gratitude to our Turkish Armed Forces, for their commitment to democracy.
We commemorate with mercy, respect and gratitude our democracy martyrs who have lost their lives for this cause and wish the wounded a quick recovery.
As the representatives of the Turkish textile and apparel industry, emphasizing our belief in democracy, we wish our supreme Turkish nation to recover soon.
