Istanbul Fashion Academy (IMA) which treats fashion with all aspects, provides education in international standards with its innovative and up-to-date approach, is exhibiting the creations of its students in its building with the theme ‘’Imagine, Do, Share’’. In the exhibition which will be open until the end of September, the sketchbooks, designs and catalogue shooting of part- time and full- time Fashion Design students, magazines of Fashion Editorship students, showcase designs of Visual Retailing and Showcase Design students, photos of Fashion Photography and Styling students, studies of Mold and Model Developing in Fashion Design students will be exhibited.
An International Institution
IMA which was founded with the support of Union European Ministry of Economy and Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Associations (ITKIB) in 2007 has the position of carrying out, its education activities with innovative and up- to- date approaches in fashion and in any field about fashion and accepted by international platforms and is one of the most successful fashion schools. IMA which gives support to educate fashion designers whose fashion, design and art consciousness is high and who has international market awareness and to bring in creative and innovative labour to direct textile and garment industry and the future of the sector, is a member of International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI). In academic field, as well as University of Arts London/ London College of Fashion, IMA which is in the collaboration with Polimoda, Institut Français de la Mode, Nottingham Trent University, feeds its theoric substructure and practical industry projects with the support that it is backed.
