In September, exports increased by 22.5 percent, in comparison to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 14 billion 476 million 54 thousand dollars. This figure is recorded as the highest monthly exports of September. This was the most rapid increase in the last 13 months of September exports. Thus, in the first nine months of the year, exports increased by 7 percent to 123 billion 110 million dollars. In the last 12 months, exports increased by 7.6 percent to 165 billion 56 million dollars.
In terms of quantity, exports increased by 30 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 11.2 tons. In September of last year, 8.5 million tons of exports were realized. Thus, September 2018 was the second most exportable month to date. Textile sector, 1.4 billion dollars in garment and apparel exports with the eye filled. Gülle, “In the past months, the contribution of the funds obtained from abroad has been great. Last year, we renewed our loan by 8.5% this year. Thus, we created an additional resource. These loans, Türk Eximbank, are the most important indicator of on-going confidence in the future of Turkey and the Turkish economy. Given the fact that the contribution of net exports to growth will be positive in the upcoming period, the support provided by Türk Eximbank for exports is even more important. “The share of SMEs in exports is growing fast”
