Offering a comprehensive service range in the field of nonwoven production, EDANA will continue its activities in Asia and Europe in 2013. It is expected that the activities to be held with the participation of global nonwoven manufacturers will be followed by many professionals. EDANA targets to bring together professionals knowledgeable in the field of nonwoven production and technologies with its Outlook Asia event in Singapore on the 13-14th March 2013, with International Nonwoven Symposium in Russia on the 15-16th May 2013, with Filtex Asia organisation in North Korea on the 29-30th May 2013 and Outlook 2013 event in Portugal on the 9-11th October 2013.
EDANA’s First Stop is Singapore
Outlook Singapore 2013 which EDANA plans to organise outside Europe for the first time is foreseen as a 2-days conference targeting to inform participants about nonwovens. In the event, besides, special information will be presented about supply chain of personal care products included in the Asian region. Basic topics of the event include evaluation of market data, technological studies, studies on future trends, regional nonwoven studies and sustainability. CEO of Japanese Unicharm firm, Takahisa Takahara will deliver a speech in the conference. In the event, such issues as personal hygiene products, Asian airlaid market, Asian consumer behaviors analysis and Outlook to the Indian market will also be discussed.
Two Events will be Organised in May 2013
EDANA will host the second event of 2013 in Saint Petersburg Park Inn Pribaltiyska Hotel in Russia. International Nonwoven Symposium to be organised on the 15-16th May 2013 will a platform where all the nonwoven industry will be assessed. Market-oriented assessments will also be made in the event where a significant professional participation is expected in addition to technical works. Following 2012 Istanbul Aurasia Nonwoven Symposium, EDANA will organise an event in Russia for the first time. In this event, important speakers will inform the participants. Alexander Markov from Regent Nonwovens Material will deliver a speech titled “Russian market for Spunbond production and Sales”. The other speakers of the event will inform participants about such issues as automotive, hygiene products, nanofiber and nonwoven.
The second stop of EDANA will be North Korea in May. The institution will organise Filtex Asia event in Seoul on the 29-30th May 2013 and gather the leading experts of the world in the field of filtration. In the event, there is an expectation for intense participation as in the activities held in Europe and India. There will guests from Korea, China and Japan. Among the themes of the Filtrex Congress, market trends, automotive filtration products, lfiltration in air, liquid and gas areas, CO2 emissions and water treatment can be listed.
EDANA’s last organisation for the year will be held in Portugal. To be held in Lisbone Cascais Mirage Hotel on the 9-11th October 2013, Outlook 2013 is deemed among the most important personal care conferences. In its edition held in 2012, Outlook conference drew more than 390 participants from 35 countries and it will host important experts in the field of hygiene products, in particular, this year. The issues to be discussed in the event are reported as technology and innovation as well as developments in the personal care products sector.
