Nüvit Gündemir, President of Uludağ Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters Association, has made a statement about the effects of the COVID19 outbreak that caused a global crisis. In his statement to Dünya Journal, Gündemir noted that significant developments have been recorded in the production of multi-functional and multi-dimensional textiles except multi-functional fibers that have seen their improvements today. Gündemir further continued his speech via underlining extraordinary changes due to the COVID 19 virus and said that Turkey can increase its’ exports if the country takes into consideration every significant changes occurred in every part of the world.
Emphasizing the deep and profound effects of the pandemic widespread all over the world, Uludag Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters Union President Nüvit Gündemir also talked about the contributions that have been expected from the government officials. While drawing attention to the changing world order in schedule with other changes, Gündemir said that companies should make an effort to change their manufacturing patterns. Apart from these statements, Gündemir concluded his speech with the predictions on the export targets at around 750 million dollars for 2020.
