ACIMIT maintains its ITMA 2015 preparations

ACIMIT is starting to get ready for ITMA Milano which is thought to be among the world’s biggest events and will be carried out between the dates 12- 19 November. For ITMA which Milano will host for the 17th one, it is planned to have Italian participants above 380.

The President of the Association of Italian Textile Machines Manufacturers (ACIMIT), Raffaella Carabelli stated that Italian participants showed 19% raise when compared to the fairs in Barcelona which was carried out four years ago and said “These numbers are not just staying for Italy to bring to a leader position among the countries exhibiting products but also it proves our belief which the aliveness of our industry and the Italian textile sector is under a healthy period”. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Italian Economic Development and the Italian Trade Agency, Carabelli stated that many practices were begun to carry into effect which was waited for introduction of Italian textile machine sector and the participation for ITMA 2015. Carabelli also said that among different attempts planned , to present the best one which Italian textile technology supplied during the period of 2015, foreigner delegations from Bangladesh, Iran, Egypt and Pakistan which would bring about 200 textile business administrators had new missions.

Visitors will discover last innovations

Besides, thanks to the ITMA 2015 awards, Carabelli told 10 students from Ethiopia, India, Russia and Vietnam would find the chance of visiting ITMA Milano Fair and discovering the innovations presented by Italian textile machines. Carabelli stated that all these events would be announced with the participation of many important players of Italian textile sector and he added “The importance of the event is adopted by the Vice- Minister Carlo Calenda who noticed the importance of Italian textile machines representing the Italian perfectness worldwide and exports its 80% of production to the countries over 130.The support given by the Ministry and the Italian Trade Agency will always differentiate our tradition and textile sector and it helps us to present overconfidently the innovation combination for all industry business managers which makes us a global leader in November 2015 in Milano and this will make us proud”.

General Director of Italian Trade Agency, Roberto Luongo said “Export made for Italian textile industry machines is a well- established business and it represents a qualification which comes from born and due to this reason, we support ACIMIT and the firms of sector. We are conscious of ITMA 2015 is a perfect opportunity for Italian firms that carry on business in the sector. Therefore, to support Italian firms to take part at the fair, a special Project was prepared with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development”.
