ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers), which conducts promotion and incentive activities of Italian textile machinery manufacturers in the global arena, continues its works nonstop. In Addis Ababa in July, a new agreement was concluded after the meeting made so as to strengthen the relations between Italian machinery manufacturers and Ethiopian textile firms.
The partnership agreement between ACIMIT and the local consultancy company BCad aims at ensuring that Italian machinery manufacturers establish relations with the Ethiopian textile manufacturers in order to encourage the latter in line with their demands.
Making an explanation on this matter, Raffaella Carabelli, Chairman of ACIMIT, said: ''The agreement with BCaD will strengthen our sustainability in Ethiopia and will bring a new breath for the textile industry.”
Carabelli also stated that export volume of Italy to Ethiopia is limited but has increased in recent years compared with previous years. The Italian Chairman concluded his speech as follows: ''As a result of ongoing contacts with our Ethiopian partner, we are confident that Italian machinery manufacturers will share their ideas and will be able to better provide the textile industry with technology and experience.'.
