Yünsa, one of the leading players in the woolen fabric sector with its top quality and sustainable products, makes a name in the international arena with its ready-to-wear production as well as via supplying woolen fabrics to world-famous brands. Yünsa, which has produced more than 500 thousand pieces of ready-to-wear garments to date, sent 66 percent of these clothes to England.
Yünsa General Manager Mustafa Sürmegöz said, “We export quality and design to England, which is famous for its yarn and fabric. In addition to our woolen fabrics, we are promoting Turkish fabric in the UK with the collections of ready-to-wear products designed with these fabrics ”.
Expressing that ready-to-wear production is preferred especially by European-based fashion brands, Yünsa General Manager Sürmegöz said, “After England, our biggest markets are France, Germany and Northern European countries. If 19 percent of our production, we realize the apparel for Turkey. We get an annual turnover of 17 million dollars from this production."
Skin care fabric
Avocado, which has become the symbol of the healthy eating trend, is now in the fabric. Europe's largest integrated manufacturer of woolen fabric Yünsa, has added a new concrete to its’ textile product innovation structure and produced Turkey's first avocado oil additive wool fabrics.
Mustafa Sürmegöz stated that they are following the technology closely and leading the change in the sector. Sürmegöz noted that the fabric they named AvoCare emerged with this approach and reflected the technology into their production and said: “At Yünsa, we successfully implemented the AvoCare finishing project, which emerged as a result of our R&D and P&D teams. Thanks to our technological infrastructure in the production line, we penetrate avocado oil into wool fabric. With AvoCare fabrics that are included in Yünsa's 2020-2021 collection, we have brought products that provide natural softness with avocado content to the sector. "
