Approximately 95 percent of the machine parts are supplied from Germany and the remaining 5 percent is supplied from Europe. As well as control engineering and automation, materials, surface engineering, needle systems and threads, Dahmen, which takes place in various R&D projects, offers analysis and consultancy services in its field of expertise.
Successful Models Brought Leadership
With its innovative, high performance, fully mechanic, semi-electronically controlled or fully-electronically controlled machines, Dahmen has a strong position in the global market. Steppomat, Ecomat, Quilttronic, Fasttronic, Vitesse and Chaintronic, which are successful models, have reached significant sales figures. In addition to these machines, the company manufactures parts and equipments for pre and post process and accessories for quilting machines.
Dahmen, which – thanks to the cooperation established with the Spanish supplier VISDELtex - has a product range that meets all the needs of its customers, is regarded as the expert brand of multi needle quilting machines.
Steppomat, controlled mechanically, is described as a Standard machine. It quilts up to an angle of 45 degrees to the left or right, an overall angle of 90 degrees. It is possible to create different patterns by changing the cam. The fully electronically controlled Ecomat, is a multi-needle lock-stitch quilting machine. Driven by servo motors, the machine quilts sideways up to an angle of 90 degrees to the left and the right, an overall angle of 180 degrees.
Quiltronic, the fully-electronically controlled model series, is able to quilt up to an angle of 360 degrees by moving the the fabric forward and backward. The machine which offers endless pattern possibilities, can be programmed with a maximum pattern width of 12”. Chaintronic model allows for a higher quilting speed through the double chain-stitch technology.
Fasttronic, which is an innovative product, has the multi-needle fast shuttle technology for the heavy and wide material processing. The machine that is remarkable with its ease of use, displays a successful performance in upholstery and mattresses as it does in many other technical applications. With its robust construction and clean design, Fasttronic provides productivity, quality, reliability, operability and safety. With a aigh speed quilting at a rate between 550 and 640 rpm, the machine has been equipped with a self learning system along with the noise-free top thread monitoring system. The new Fasttronic works with needle sizes down to 100 and has a multi-lingual Windows based operating system with a colour touch screen panel.
