On the map which was drawn by an extensive study, there are interesting results about colors used in places where we live, work and eat.
Blue Is the First Choice in Turkey
According to the study, all shades of ‘blue’ are preferred in Turkey and the colors ‘green-pink-khaki’ are commonly preferred by women and men in Europe. Examining closely the color map of Turkey, we see that the most popular colors are 'saxe' for women and 'light blue' for men.
We see dark blue and black following these colors. While 'white' is the first choice in Australia, Turkic Republics prefer 'blue' as the first choice like Turkey. Another interesting result is that black is on the top of the most preferred colors even in summer in Russia where it is thought that people like colored garments. And, China which always has a unique structure prefers 'Red'.
