According to the datas released by Uludağ Exporters' Union (UIB), 2012 in January-November period, 1 billion 112 million 183 thousand dollars textile exports, with 11,49 increase reached to 1 billion 240 million 27 thousand dollars in same period of 2013. Between January-November in 2013 the exports to Russia, despite the 0,08 percent decrease, was in the first place with 142 million 755 thousand dollars. Russia which took 11,51 percent share of Bursa's textile export, was followed by Germany, UK, Romania, USA, Italy, Iran, Netherlands, Morocco and Spain.
The growth rate of textile exports, the best performance of these countries was achieved by the Dutch Market with 75.82 percent.
The largest increase is in Russia
During the first 11 months of 2012, 452 million 634 thousand dollars of apparel and clothing exports, in the same period of this year with 5,44 rising it reached to 477 million 240 thousand dollars. Exports to Germany during this period, has maintained its leadership with 100 million 405 thousand dollars in spite of the 7.74 percent decrease. Having 21,04 percent share of Bursa's clothing and apparel exports, Germany was followed by England, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, the USA, the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia. Russian Federation, was noticed as the market which exhibited the best performance with a 99,76 percent of growth rate.
The textile and garment and apparel sectors, the 1 billion 564 million 817 thousand dollars total exports during the first 11 months of last year, in the same period of this year rose to 1 billion 717 million 267 thousand dollars.
While exports in November, compared to the same month last year, had an increase of 16,28 percent rising to 131 million 834 thousand dollars, clothing and apparel had a deacrease with 10,89 percent fell to 42 million 395 thousand dollars.
