According to the export numbers of July 2015 given by Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), textile and raw materials sector and ready- wear and garment industry, carpet and leather sectors continue regressing. Textile and raw materials sector carried out 633 million dollars export in July 2015. This number stayed under 9.9% when compared to the 702 million dollars export of last year. And when looking at January- July 2015 period, the loss of textile and raw materials sector became 11%4 when it compared with the first 7 months of 2014. Total textile export that was carried out in the mentioned period regressed to 4 billion 628 million dollars from 5billion 222 million dollars.
With the comparison of 1-31 July 2015 with the same period of last year , the biggest markets which made the textile export are ranked as the following: Italy 60 million 404 thousand dollar with 19, 17% of regression, Iran 29 million 470 thousand dollar with 18, 2%of regression, Germany 29 million 325 thousand dollar with 8, 10% of regression, USA 29 million 322 thousand dollar with 18, 2% of increase, United Kingdom 26 million 923 thousand dollar with 15, 23%of regression, Bulgaria 24 million 858 thousand dollar with 4, 32% of regression, Poland 21 million 156 thousand dollar with 2, 72% of increase, Romania 21 million 129 thousand dollar with 12, 2% of regression, Egypt 19 million 93 thousand dollar with 9, 45% of regression, Iraq 16 million 126 thousand dollar with 74, %72 of regression, Russian Federation 46 million 13 thousand dollar with 28, 51% of regression, Spain 16 million 55 thousand dollar with 1, 26% of increase, China 14 million 872 thousand dollar with 28, 72% of increase, Ukraine 14 million 767 thousand dollar with 45, 80% of regression, Tunisia 12 million 140 thousand dollar with 9, 08% of regression, Netherland 12 million 52 thousand dollar with 3, 43% of regression, France 9 million 968 thousand dollar with 15, 3% of regression, Belgium 9 million 554 thousand dollar with 19, 19% of regression and Morocco 15 million 782 thousand dollar with 6, 56% of increase.
Within the first 10 sector which the most export was carried in July, ready wear and garment industry is ranked as the second and textile and raw materials sector is ranked as the sixth.
Read- wear, carpet and leather sector exports have been regressed
Read- wear and garment industry sector gained 1 billion 497 million dollar income with 13% of regression when compared with the same month of last year in 2015. In July 2014, this number reached 1 billion 720 million dollar in July 2015. January- July 2015 period export performance of the sector recorded a 13, 8% of regression. While in the first 7 months of 2014, 11 billion 143million dollar export was carried out, in January- June 2015 period, 9 billion 658 million dollar value was reached.
Carpet manufacturers obtained 147 million dollar export income with 19, 1% loss in 2015. This number was 181 million dollar in July 2014. And in respect to January- July period, in 2014, carpet manufacturers who obtained 1 billion 326 million dollar income, they regressed to 1 billion 146 million dollar with 13, 6% of loss.
While leather and leather products sector obtained 169 million dollar income in July 2014, they reached 119 million dollar with 29, 7% of regression in July 2015. In January- July 2015 period, 871 million dollar export income was caught with 17, 2% of loss when compared to the same period of last year.
