Levi’s® 2014 Spring / Summer collection was inspired by the Golden State
Levi's ® Spring / Summer 2014 women's and men's collection, which was prepared by inspiring from the free spirit of America's west coast, draws attention to the life style of 1960s and also reflects chic, optimistic and youthful style of contemporary street culture of Golden State.
In Levi's ® Spring / Summer 2014 women's and men's collection, a lively silhouette, in which iconic heritage pieces and cult with a combination of dark and light fabrics were re-interpreted, was created. There are different wash-off including camouflage and pixel of press, slight wearing on jeans, chequered western shirts in both collections men and women as innovation.
White Tab series reflecting the spirit of the period of youth by reinterpreting classic pieces of the 1960s brings together design, attractive colours and Bedford fabrics. Levi's Revel® styling jeans for women and Levi’s® Commuter® for energetic and modern men are among the other specialty products of the collection.
Men’s Collection
Levi's ® 501 ® jeans, trucker jackets, western shirts, classic white shirt stand out in Levi’s® Men's collection including timeless pieces. Beige, blue and red colours stand out in the collection inspired by the casual appearance that Californian sportive men prefer.
The best denim fabrics, colours and wash-off are also included in the Levi's ® new jean styles. Timeless 501® Jean is remarkable with its wash-off performance and incredible Coolmax fabric as well as non-denim options. Spring collections also introduces Levi’s® Sta-Prest™, which has a soft pink and beige colour palette and inspired from non-denim White Tab.
Levi’s® collaborated with Jimphillips, who is Californian graffiti artist, for the surf theme highlighted in the men's collection this season. Philip's designs reflects American surfer's comfortable appearance and consist of classic trucker jackets , shirts, vests and t-shirts which can be worn at the beach and outside of the beach.
Levi's ® Commuter ® collection appeals to urban male, who use metro, auto bus, bicycle, bus. This innovative collection, prepared with the motto ''Embrace the City'' offers cool, elegant solution for urban male.
Women’s Collection
The renewal of iconic pieces such as dresses, trucker jackets, 501 ® shorts, western shirt with saw pocket in the women's collection reflecting Palm Springs life style including such striking designs as sunny summer colours, refined fabrics and pixel prints.
In the collection, denim wash-off, white-on-black and blue on white were combined and coral colour, lemon yellow and orange were used with solid coloured pieces. At the same time, White Tab collection capsule offers draped silhouettes, silk blouses, striking, blue and white printed pieces, jeans, jackets and white jean 501® style.
In the collection choosing the modern character of the 1960s of California as the theme, we see Bedford fabrics, high-waisted jeans, camouflage and chequered patterned dresses, graphic printed pants and denim vests. In addition, feminine iconic dresses are included in the collection. It is possible to combine these dresses, which are simple but elegant and impressive, with sandals and a jacket.
