Virtual 3D Prototype Enables a Chance to Practice
AMFI training program combines technical knowledge with creative innovation in the fashion industry for over 20 years. Lectra accelerating its education works in the field of fashion shares the developments in the field of making 3D virtual prototyping. Thanks to Lectra Modaris, seeing the designs as 3D enables that the students can understand the system easier. Students can decide about the size by changing the silhouette, color, fabric design and the type of fabric. Furthermore, the students also learn to define the proportions. The modifications enables to freely explore more interaction and creative options, because they are visible in real time both on the flat pattern and the the 3D prototype.
