The collection takes its inspiration from the concept of "healing", which literally means bodily or spiritual healing, salvation, relief. This season, Meltem Özbek and her team focus on searching for our inner self by creating concepts on feelings and behavior, rather than the thematic collection. This pursuit finds its inspiration in the Autumn / Winter 2021 collection in our desire to prevent us from being alienated from ourselves during the pandemic process, when we are in a tough fight with the traditional macro and micro environment.
Living Motifs, Revival
Revival, shaped in the focus of "healing, freedom, air" that we miss in the process we live in, wants to create "impact and sustainability" for the future by combining the dual opposition between the positive and negative balance of life with the instinct to bring all different tastes together.
The collection appeals to all women seeking a free and simple style and seeking healing; Midnight black, earth brown, sky blue, cream and white tones are dominant. In Revival, which consists of 30 pieces and 18 looks, satin, gabardine, leather, poplin fabric selections meet the designer's signature asymmetric details and clear lines. Jacket-trouser suits, shirts and dresses stand out in the collection, which can be carried easily from day to night. This season, remarkable bag designs for wallets and airpods are also included in the collection with different triangle sizes.
Digital Fashion Show
In Meltem Özbek Autumn / Winter 2021 fashion show video, photographer and director Osman Özer's signature draws attention, photographs were entrusted to Zeynep Özkanca and styling was entrusted to Mert Yemencioğlu. The digital fashion show is shaped around a sphere representing healing, and models symbolizing completing the cycle by healing as to start from and return to healing again.
