Sustainability is the Focus of Production

ARTA Tekstil runs a comprehensive environmental management in all production stages in order to pass on a cleaner and healthy environment to future generations and to ensure sustainability. The company, which carries out its production by complying with domestic and international legislations and standards, also obtains more than 40 percent of the thermal energy it uses from biomass. ARTA Tekstil, which recovers 80 percent of the caustic used with the caustic recovery system and creates a minimum level of caustic waste, also  with the chimney heat recovery system, STENTER machines recover the heat of the gases coming out of the boilers and achieve an energy saving of 30-35%. Tamer Nalbant, while giving speech on the sustainability studies of ARTA Tekstil, which sets target for itself to become a facility which can generate its own electricity and can provide energy security with the Solar Power Plant (GES) which is projected to be delivered in 2023 August onwards, “As ARTA Tekstil family, we care about sustainability and the future of our planet. Within the scope of the EU Green Consensus Action Plan, we continue to increase our investments on a regular basis in order to protect water and ensure energy security to consume the world's resources in a scalable way and to minimize the emissions that could cause the climate crisis. Currently, we have many systems that we actively use, such as our caustic recovery system, our renewable biomass energy, our STENTER machines chimney gas heat recovery system, our waste water recovery system, and our condensate recycling system. Addition, after the delivery of our ongoing treatment plant investment, we aim to significantly reduce our water consumption. In addition, the Solar Power Plant (GES), which we have recently achieved its investment, will be commissioned in August. With this investment, we will be able to supply 100 percent of our electricity from GES. As ARTA Tekstil, we support the 17 global targets which defined by the United Nations (UN) and we are committed to conduct works in line with these goals.’’
