Efes Havlu Tekstil, the third company to be awarded the Oeko-Tex STeP Certificate, a sign of commitment to sustainable textile manufacturing, has also keeps its services up to ensure the safety of its employees. According to the statement made by the Company, Efes Havlu, passing ISO 45001:2018 audit successfully has become the first company to be certified by BSI, an international standardisation corporation, in the textile sector all over the globe. "We work continuously in order to create a more favourable environment for our employees and to minimise the accidents", says Elçin Kurtulan, Marketing Director of Efes Havlu Tekstil, during the interview made to Tekstil Dünyası / Tex To Wear.
'Innovations Continue In Every Area'
Emphasizing that they are constantly updating themselves as a company in terms of job security and environmental awareness, Elçin Kurtulan further adds their production lines have also been renewed. Pointing out that they have made the digital printing of the products completely in their own structures with the latests machinery they have acquired, Kurtulan explains "we have finally added Nirvana printing machine to our production facility. We do all of our digital printing operations at our own facilities." Despite the fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, Kurtulan suggests 2018 was much better than expected for Efes Havlu Tekstil. "Obviously, despite the fluctuations in exchange rates in 2018, we have been going through this period better than we expected. The increase in the rates affected our exports positively. We are very hopeful for the second half of 2018 and for 2019. "
