During the second quarter of 2023, the orders index for textile machinery, as compiled by the Economics Department of ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, dropped significantly compared to April-June 2022 period (-30%).
While at the General Assembly of ACIMIT, held in July, Marco Salvadé was appointed as the new President, it was underlined that the sector will make a difference with innovation solutions.
BTMA has joined the ITMF revitalising a historic connection and reflecting an increased push to expand the international reach of UK companies.
ACIMIT President Zucchi noted, "So many satisfied visitors and exhibitors, confirming the vitality of the global textile machinery industry, and of the sector in Italy particularly.'’
